The RolesYou would be working mostly on a 1:1 basis out in the community, supporting people to access a range of social, leisure and development opportunities in line with the person's desired outcomes. A successful applicant would be as passionate as we are about bringing increased choice and opportunity to the lives of those we support. They would also need to be reliable, flexible able to think on their feet and must ensure that the needs and wishes of the individual are the focus of the activity at all times. Shift patterns and timings are determined by the person you are matched with are matched with. As far as possible, shift patterns are similar each week to provide continuity for the people we support and the enablers, although some flexibility is essential. The majority of work is during weekdays, although some evening and/or weekend working will be required. The starting salary is £9.13 (Incrementally increasing up to £10.22 when performance is assessed as excellent against our values) Contracts are usually offered at 30 hours per week with options to increase amount of hours worked with additional shifts. Part-time may be considered.
