CEDA is a registered charity, in addition to charging fees for services, we rely upon raising additional funds in order to offer the quality and range of activities available. All donations, large and small are used to directly benefit the service users.
It is with thanks to the ongoing generous support of The Clare Milne Trust that we operate from such a wonderful building.
CEDA has a long history of delivering quality projects funded by external trusts and grant givers. Some of our recent projects have included providing activities for disabled and disadvantaged children, thanks to BBC Children in Need; exploring Exeter’s heritage, funded by Heritage Lottery Fund; updating our IT suite with funding from UK Online and Clothworkers Foundation and creating a Sports and Activities Leader post, which was funded by the Peter Harrison Foundation. We welcome support from members of the public to hold fundraising events on our behalf. A few ideas that have been successfully used to raise funds include holding quiz nights, golf days, fun days, parachute jumps and running marathons. Thank you to all those who have helped, every penny counts!
