Exeter based charity CEDA is looking to mark the achievements of disabled people from across Devon in their first ‘Celebrate CEDA’ event being held at the Rougemont Hotel, Queen Street Exeter on Friday 24th February 2017.
The event is made possible thanks to funding from The Big Lottery Celebrate fund introduced by the Big Lottery Fund last year to celebrate something from a community's history or a local hero, or just a chance to bring people together to get to know their neighbours better.
The nominations have been made by CEDA staff and supporters and will see awards being handed out to people recognising many achievements in areas such as Sports Personality, Creativity, Volunteering and a Milestone award presented to a person who has faced significant change in the past year. The evening will also feature entertainment from Devon based band Electric Spank and up close magic performed by Dan Brazier.
The event will be documented via social media and will highlight the achievements big and small of CEDA’s 300+ members.
The Celebrate CEDA event is open to all but registration is required by email- firstname.lastname@example.org
